The Aeroquip or Stratoflex external stainless steel braided hose has drawbacks. You don't see that used on certificated aircraft, just experimental for example. The rubber hose inside the braid will break down and leak before it is noticed through the external braid. Ok for hot rods that only travel to a show but this looks gaudy and really not needed. Everything else looks great.

Always curious how those spacers and wheelbearings hold up over time when going off road
